For the extremely reasonable price of $20, I was treated to a truly delicious raw dinner that included a mango smoothie, chili, enchiladas, crackers with salsa, and key lime pie. If you're curious about raw food, these dinners are a great place to discover just how good raw food can be. And that would be seriously good!
August 27 - catered raw food dinner at the Kinzer Fire Hall in Kinzers, PA
September 11 - catered raw food dinner at the Newark Co-op Limestone Presbyterian Church in Newark Wilmington, DE
Pat holds a raw food potluck the third Monday of each month at the Kinzer Fire Hall in Kinzers, PA. Kim's first raw food potluck will be September 15 18 at the Newark Co-op.
To attend any of these events all you have to do is RSVP by email to Pat (paumble@yaoo.com). And be sure to get on their email list for monthly notices of events, or check Kim's events page (presently not up to date) and Pat's events page.

Interesting. I could never do it, I like my vegetables cooked until they are mush! Aye yi yi - hopefully one day I will evolve.
A friend of mine on Facebook -- I forget who -- mentioned this in a status update saying how wonderful it was. So, I guess you may have bumped into one of my FB friends at this thing. I'll have to go back and see who it was. Food looks delicious. If this is going to be a regular affair, then I'll definitely have to sign up and get in on the raw goodness!
OK, I'm really dense. Now that I think about it, I think it was YOUR Twitter update I read that thanked Pat and Kim for this raw feast.
Gosh. Working 10-hour days prepping a classroom in sweltering heat has really fried my brain!!! Oh wait, you can't fry with raw, can you?!?!
;-)
DWA - Sept 11 is the next one in DE. If you want to go get at me.
